Project "Essentia Voice"

The multilateral exchange "Essentia Voice” is designed and carried out by youth organizations from Programme Countries (Estonia, Latvia, Portugal,Bulgaria) and Neighboring Partner Countries (Ukraine, Azerbaijan).


When: 25 – 31 of March 2013.
Where: Sintra, Portugal.
Who: 36 participants with ages between 18 and 25 years from Portugal, Latvia, Estonia, Bulgaria, Ukraine and Azerbaijan

       The context of the project "Essentia Voice” is current global value crisis, that forces a need for strong identity on individual and society level. This is important in order to maintain cultural and environmental heritage, gain economical and political benefits on worldwide scale and not to let decision makers create the values and identity for people.

        The main objective of the project is to encourage young people to take active part in shaping their own societies. This project "Essentia Voice" is a place where young people from EU and Eastern Europe and Caucasus countries can exchange and create new values and mind sets about global active and civil society using non-formal learning activities such as musical, theatre and others. Especially this is an important issue in Eastern European countries, where civil and democratical societies are still developing.

Youth exchange "Essentia Voice" is an platform where all the working methods are based on non-formal learning.

This project is funded by the Youth in Action Programme

Conditions and cost:
1. Food and accommodation will be provided and fully paid by grant from the Portuguese National Agency of Youth in Action Programme.
2. 70% of all travel expenses will be reimbursed.
