Erasmus+ project „Heartbeat of Career” in Latvia

From 21st till 28th of October youth workers and educators from seven countries meet in order to learn about career development, entrepreneurship and relationship building during the Erasmus+ project „Heartbeat of Career” in Latvia.

„The training course gives an opportunity to grow personally and professionally into theme of career development while learning together with other youth workers and educators. Participants step out of their comfort zones, cross their cultural boarders and improve their social and professional competence for continuing better work at their local communities,” explains one of the trainer of the project Heartbeat of Career and lead organization The Baltic Center for Career Education, Lauma Ziemelniece.

Within the project there are 21 youth workers and educators from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Turkey, Poland, Ukraine and Belarus. In international context participants were discovering such questions like: What is a career? How to choose a path that leads towards fulfilment of own dreams and passions? How to create a turn of own career? How to find a true call and how to develop successful career around it? And most importantly, how to build successful career playfully? 

 The main objective of the project’s training „Heartbeat of Career” is to equip youth workers and educators to deal with career development questions, primarily, investigating own path. The principal activity of the project is eight days training that brought together two career development approaches (Start Strong and Constellation). Participants have a chance through non-formal activities to experience how both approaches have successfully helped thousands of students and educators in EU and other countries to start and transform their career. As well participants have chance to experience study visits to local university, social enterprise, youth center, high school and share gained knowledge. The follow of this activity are local workshops that are held in communities of each partner organization.

С 21 по 28 октября педагоги и специалисты по работе с молодежью из 7 стран встретились в Латвии в рамках проекта Erasmus+ «Сердцебиение карьеры» для того, чтобы узнать о развитии карьеры и предпринимательства, а также, чтобы наладить профессиональные и личные связи.

       «Тренинг дает возможность преподавателям и специалистам по работе с молодежью развиваться лично и профессионально в вопросах развития карьеры в ходе совместного обучения. Участники вышли из своей зоны комфорта, расширили культурные границы и усовершенствовали  социальные и профессиональные компетенции для дальнейшей работы в местных сообществах», объясняет один из тренеров проекта «Сердцебиение карьеры» и лидер организации «Балтийский центр карьерного образования», — Lauma Ziemelniece.

 В проекте приняли участие 21 специалист по работе с молодежью из Латвии, Литвы, Эстонии, Турции, Польши, Украины и Беларуси. В международном контексте участники рассуждали о следующих вопросах: Что такое карьера? Как выбрать дорогу, которая ведет к исполнению желаний? Как совершить поворот в карьере? Как найти настоящее призвание и как стать успешным? И, самое важное: как построить успешную карьеру играючи?

Главная цель проекта “Сердцебиение карьеры” — научить участников справляться с вопросами карьерного образования, главным образом исследуя свой путь. Основной этап проекта — 8 дней тренинга, который объединил два подхода к развитию карьеры (опыт проектов Start Strong и Constellation). Участники имели возможность познакомиться с успешным опытом обоих подходов, которые помогли тысячам студентов и педагогов в ЕС и других странах начать и трансформировать их карьеру. Также участники проекта имели возможность посетить местный университет, социальное предприятие, молодежный центр, школы и поделиться приобретенными знаниями. Результатом участия в проекте станут семинары и мастер-классы, организованные участниками тренинга и партнерскими организациями.
